Success at the Washington, DC Regional!![]() Our F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition team had a great time at the Washington, DC Regional last weekend. Due to a parts mixup towards the end of our build season, we arrived with our robot in several pieces, several of which had never been fitted together. Veterans from several teams provided us with invaluable support, sharing their experience and often giving us the parts necessary to complete our designs. We would not have had nearly as good an experience without the great people from Area 53 (team 53), TechnoWarriors (team 768), Blue Cheese (team 1086), iLite Robotics (team 1885), and the Mighty Monkey Wrenches (team 2016). In the end, we outranked several veteran teams, and received the Rookie Inspiration Award for our community outreach efforts. Go Techtonics! Ready to RollThe final two sprockets have arrived courtesy of James, and John was able to find the #35 chain he has been hunting for days. By the end of Wednesday's meeting, we should have a drivable robot!
